? The second workshop of the special education program for graduate school students was held online on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, with the participation of about 40 students and faculty members.
? This workshop has been held since last year, mainly for undergraduate students, with the aim of deepening their interest in their own specialties and related fields by introducing advanced, comprehensive, and integrated research.
? Led by the Watershed Environmental Science Special Education Program, the workshop was held under the theme of “Challenges of Learning and Working in a Foreign Country: Case Studies in Water Research. The workshop was divided into four groups, and international students and researchers who are conducting research on water, which is of universal importance, introduced the content of their own research and their reasons for coming to Japan and talked about their motivation for taking up the challenge of studying abroad, the difficulties and rewards of working with multinational people, and the joy of research.
? During the session, a vigorous exchange of opinions and a question and answer session took place, and the participants commented that they were able to hear the real voices of the international students through the workshop and that they were able to ask questions in a casual manner because of the group work.

 该研讨会以学部学生为主要对象,通过介绍尖端?综合?融合研究等,以让学生切实感受研究的乐趣,加深对自身专业和周边领域的兴趣为目的,从去年开始举办。
 这次的研讨会以流域环境科学特别教育课程为主体,以“挑战在异国的学习?工作:水研究领域的事例的介绍”为主题,分成了4个小组会议。研究对象是对万国都同样重要的“水”的外国留学生和研究者们,介绍了自己的研究内容、来日本的理由等,并讲述了挑战海外的契机、与多国人员合作的困难和价值、研究的乐趣等。
 研讨会上进行了活跃的意见交换和答疑等,参加者们发表了“通过研讨会听到了留学生的声音”、“因为是团队协作,所以能够轻松愉快地参加和答疑”等各种感想,这是一个有意义的研讨会。
