Lecture “British Fiction Rocks!”

　On 14th October, the Center for Liberal Arts invited Mr. Masanori Kimura as a guest speaker for its second open lecture.

　Mr. Kimura has translated three novels and selected short stories by a Scottish writer, Dame Muriel Spark.

　These works have been highly praised by popular writers such as Kanae Minato and Kaori Fujino, an Akutagawa-prize winner, and also well reviewed by an artist Tadanori Yokoo.

　With great eloquence, Mr. Kimura spoke on his experience of British fiction and the work of translation, and captivated the audience.
