Congratulation to Shin-nosuke Machida who received RSC Analyst Award at The 65th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry
Shin-nosuke Machida was awarded the RSC Analyst Poster Prize at The 65th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry, held at Sapporo on September 14th, 16th, 2016.
The nine poster prize-winners giving an outstanding presentation were selected among 217 candidates of young scientist presenters.
His research topic is “Synthesis and ion sensing by charge transfer absorption variations of pyridinium-crown ether conjugates”. He succeeded the synthesis of pyridinium-crown ether conjugated compounds, and found their charge transfer absorptions capable of exhibiting a guest-responsive color change with high selectivity.
He said, “I am extremely honored and grateful to receive such the award. I would like to thank JSAC for the recognition of my effort. I would also like to thank Dr. Tetsuo Kuwabara, Mr. Ryota Satake, and all members in my group for their help. This award has encouraged me to continue my research in the supramolecular science field.”
