Participated in “Study in Japan Fair” in Malaysia

　We opened a booth at International Education Fair in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and promoted University of Yamanashi to Malaysian students who are interested in studying in a Japanese university.

　The fair was held on Dec. 17th and 18th, 2016. More than 3,000 people visited the fair in 2 days. Japan Pavillion consists of 40 Japanese institutions. Many students came to our booth and showed their interest in University of Yamanashi.

　During the following 2 days, Dec. 19th and 20th, we also participated in ”Study in Japan INFO DAY 2016” held in Institute Bahasa Teikyo in Kuala Lumpur. 17 educational institutions from Japan participated in and 190 people in totalvisited the fair. We promoted our university to high school students and Japanese language school students, and also had an opportunity to exchange information with other Japanese universities.

　As of November 1st 2016, 33 Malaysian students are enrolled in University of Yamanashi. It was a good opportunity to promote our university to more Malaysian students who are interested in studying in Japan.
