Debriefing of Study Abroad
Debriefing by students who participated the exchange program and internship abroad was held on May. 17th and 18th.
At the beginning, 2 Students who studied for one year in our partner universities, University of Technology Sydney, Australia and Eastern Kentucky University, United States, shared their experiences and achievement with the attendees.
In addition to these exchange programs, we also provided two unique short-term (about 3 to 4 weeks) programs combining language study and job shadowing during spring break, at University of Iowa United States, and Hangzhou Dianzi University, China. 12 students participated the University of Iowa program. After a 3-week intensive English course, the students took part in job shadowing related to their own major in schools, companies or organizations. The Hangzhou Dianzi University Program includes 2-week Chinese and 1-week internship at Terumo Medical Products Co., Ltd. 14 students joined the Hangzhou Dianzi University program. In addition to the Chinese lessons and internship, they also enjoyed the interactions with local students.
The vivid and fresh reports by the students who have grown through study abroad experience t have encouraged other students who are hoping to study abroad in the near future.
