VENTFORET KOFU Claim Maiden Emperor’s Cup title! Congratulatory banner on Faculty of Medicine Campus Ground
On Monday, October 17,2022, a banner was placed on the Faculty of Medicine Campus ground to celebrate the victory of a professional soccer club, VENTFORET KOFU(VFK), in the Emperor’s Cup JFA 102nd All Japan Soccer Championship Tournament on April 16.
Since 2010, the University of Yamanashi has provided the ground of the Medicine Campus as a training ground for VFK, which is managed by the Ventforet Yamanashi Sports Club Inc.
In February of this year, we signed a comprehensive business collaboration agreement for the purpose of cooperating in the fields of education, environment, health, and international exchange to form and promote the vibrant local community, and to achieve mutual development.
In the Emperor’s Cup final, VFK played Sanfrecce Hiroshima to a1-1 draw, but VFK won the penalty shootout to win the tournament for the first time. We will continue to support VFK.
